Join our team as a Peer Mentor Coordinator to lead the change for a smoke-free future and transform lives!
This is an exciting opportunity to join a new team in Leeds Stop Smoking Services, providing smoking cessation advice to the residents of Leeds.
The Leeds Stop Smoking Service is a community provision with a focus on engaging and providing evidence-based behaviour change interventions for people who have or are at risk of developing a longer-term physical health condition or a common mental health illness, who wish to stop smoking and may need additional support.
You will be responsible for recruiting, leading and managing a group of volunteer Peer Support Mentors
If you have/are you…:
- Experience creating a personalised service for clients with multiple and complex needs
- Like thinking of new and flexible ways of engaging clients
- The ability to work collaboratively and positively with clients and other service providers
