Added: 13/12/2022
Leeds Community Foundation
Transforming Mental Health Grants are now open for applications!
Leeds Community Foundation is pleased to be working with Forum Central and the NHS Integrated Care Board in Leeds to test the impact of grant funding to small groups (not necessarily constituted) and to third sector organisations to support the transformation of services for people with complex mental health needs.
People with lived experience of complex mental health needs have told us that support within communities is key to the ongoing management of their mental health. A big part of the transformation we are working towards is about shifting from:
- A system that is diagnosis-led (eg, focused on giving you a diagnosis to help you understand/navigate your distress)to
- An interventions/needs led model (understanding what matters to people, and working with them to identify interventions and activities to support their mental and physical health)
Grant Size: Small Grants up to £2,000; Medium Grants up to £20,000; Large Grants up to £35,000Location: The following Local Care Partnerships – Leeds Student Medical Practice and the Light, HATCH and West LeedsApplication Deadline: 31/01/2023 at 12 noonRead more and apply hereSee all of our open grants here
