Waking the Artist: A city-wide exhibition everyone can take part in
We’re shining a spotlight on everyday creativity and everyone is invited to take part by creating pieces of art and putting them up in windows, schools and community spaces! We’re inviting you to create your own display and exhibit it as part of Waking the Artist from January to April.
Get involved in a city-wide movement and turn everyday places into spectacular art displays.
There are three ways you can get involved:
Do it yourself – Create your own works of art and display them in windows in schools, communities and homes. Use your creativity to awaken the artist within. If you need some inspiration, take a look at our website for some ideas. When you’ve created your display, download our Waking the Artist label to give your exhibition a title.
Book a pack of art materials – If you are a school or community group you can book a pack of art materials to be delivered, which includes an Artist Label to give your exhibition a title.
Book a facilitated session – Schools and community groups can also book an artist facilitator to lead a session and help create your display.
