Hello,

My name is Kai Mclean and I am currently carrying out research for an MA that involves an investigation into the barriers to access the Healthy Start scheme and the changes that the new scheme brings.

The paper voucher has come to an end, all future applications are online and all vouchers are now given out in the form of a prepaid card. I want to investigate the effects of these changes, how the move to digital may effect interactions between users and the scheme, and how practitioners and workers that have knowledge of this transition understand and evaluate the new schemes effectiveness in Leeds.

If you are someone with experience using the new Healthy Start scheme, or are a worker or practitioner who has experience and knowledge about the implementation and use of the digital scheme, I would love to talk to you. The participants will take part in a short video interview of around 30 minutes, discussing their experiences and opinions on the new Healthy Start.

Please contact me at ss18k2m@leeds.ac.uk – for more information.
