Health and Wellbeing Champions work to enhance employee health and wellbeing by equipping staff with resources and tools to support their peers.

The Leeds Health and Care Academy, alongside partners, are providing the option of either a one-day face-to-face training course or two half-day virtual training courses (via Zoom), that will qualify the participant as a Health and Wellbeing Champion. The training focuses on the role of Champions, mental and physical health, communication and engagement, culture, and support networks and resources. After completion of the training, participants will be able to identify and support those in need within their teams and enhance their workplace health and wellbeing culture.
