We are looking for kind, patient, and empathetic people to volunteer as part of our Befriending Service. As part of a team of volunteer Befrienders you will provide vital support to those who are isolated and lonely through face to face and telephone befriending.

We ask volunteers to support an older person for 1 hour per week over 6 months.

Befrienders will need to attend a short induction session, these usually lasts around 1 hour and are scheduled when you are available.

We offer all our volunteers the same level of training and ongoing support. We will also cover travel expenses.
