Celebrating Small Charities in Leeds

Added: 26/06/2023

Voluntary Action Leeds

On Thursday 22 June, in partnership with Leeds City Council, VAL celebrated small charities and groups and their vital work in communities across Leeds.

The event, held at the Civic Hall, was a chance for small groups to be recognised for their contribution and to receive a celebratory certificate and programme from the Lord Mayor of Leeds, Cllr Al Garthwaite.

Thank you to the stall holders who were on hand to offer advice and information to groups; Forum Central, WYCAS, Wade’s Charity, Leeds Community Foundation, Housing Leeds, Culturally Diverse Hub, Leeds Community Committee, Leeds Migrant Access Project and LCAN

Thank you to everyone who attended and for your continued contribution to the city
