Have you ever thought you would like to help refugees and asylum seekers, but didn’t know how?
Do you like meeting new people?
Are you good at chatting to people you’ve just met?
If the answer to any of these questions is YES, you could be one of the people Conversation Club Leeds is looking for!
Conversation Club Leeds is a registered charity which provides a safe space for refugees and asylum seekers to socialise and practise speaking English.
We currently need volunteers to chat to and befriend our ‘guests’ for an hour or two at our twice-weekly meetings. You will need to have great people skills, lots of empathy and a good sense of humour. But you will get a lot in return!
