There is a new project at Voluntary Action Leeds that will be working with underrepresented communities to develop their strategic leadership skills. The project will also work with organisations who would like to diversify their committee or board and become more inclusive.

Support and training will be provided to underrepresented communities to help build the capacity within their own organisational committee or board, and an opportunity for 10 community representatives to engage and learn on an organisations board for 6 months to gain experience with a mentor.

The organisations will receive training on how to diversify your organisation and be more inclusive and culturally competent.

This is a pilot for 12 month
