EMERGE Leeds: Complex emotional needs service
Added: 04/04/2022

EMERGE is the recently formed complex emotional needs service, clinically known as personality disorder, designed and delivered specifically for young adults (18 – 25 years), in recognition that the transition to adult services and activities is often not appropriate for many young people of this age.
The EMERGE team understands the impact that support from third sector organisations can have on young people’s lives and would like to engage with some of you in different and additional ways, as well as become aware of what is already out there.
Ali Spaul and myself, Sally Hoy, on behalf of EMERGE and via Forum Central, are currently undertaking a short piece of scoping work, exploring and identifying who works with young people 18 – 25 in Leeds and who currently, or potentially, has the ability to support young people with complex emotional needs.
If you already engage with this age group, or are interested in doing so, we’d love to hear from you and have a chat about the work, online, in person or on the phone.
In the first instance please contact Sally Hoy sally.hoy@forumcentral.org.uk or Ali Spaul ali.spaul@forumcentral.org.uk
