The Market Place is a well-established and respected provider of young people’s early intervention and prevention services in Leeds – particularly in relation to meeting the emotional wellbeing and mental health needs of young people.

Exciting opportunity for volunteers
We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our Youth Work Team offering information and support to young people in Leeds aged 11-25 years old in our Drop-in service.

The organisation is ‘young person centred’, which means that we do not give advice or tell someone what to do, but rather offer support and space for young people to work through their issues, at their pace, in their way. We believe young people are the experts in their own lives. Please note you must be 18 years old or over to become a volunteer. All posts at The Market Place are subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check
