Are you part of a cultural organisation, community or voluntary group in Leeds, or do you lead a community group in the city? If so, you could apply for funding through the Explore & Experience Grant Scheme.

Funded by West Yorkshire Combined Authority and Leeds City Council, the Seasons of Culture programme is offering one-off grants to help organisations, community groups and voluntary groups explore and experience creative activities in Leeds blue and green spaces.

What can the funding support?

We’re looking to fund activities and trips that connect people with creativity, nature and the outdoors through themes such as:

• Nature and biodiversity
• Sustainability
• Climate resilience
• Arts and cultural experiences in outdoor spaces

Funding can be used for activities including trips to:

• Nature-themed performances
• Outdoor exhibitions
• Participatory creative events
• Activities taking place in parks, riversides, canals, woodlands and nature reserves

Who can apply?

• Cultural and creative organisations registered in Leeds
• Individuals who live in Leeds, and are responsible for a community or voluntary group registered in Leeds

We are particularly keen to support projects that reflect the rich creative and cultural diversity of Leeds, including activities by, with or for people with protected characteristics and communities living in the most disadvantaged areas of the city
