FoodCycle
FoodCycle – the charity that aims to make food poverty, loneliness and food waste a thing of the past for every community – is setting its sites on Leeds.
To help make this happen, FoodCycle are on the hunt for new venues in the Leeds area. Week in, week out FoodCycle volunteers nourish the hungry and lonely in communities across the country with delicious meals and great conversation, using food that would otherwise go to waste. The meals are free and open to anyone.
Do you have a venue that would make a welcoming space for community members to share a wholesome meal and have a natter? Are you someone who has always wanted to give back through volunteering?
FoodCycle relies on the kindness of volunteers to help run the Projects and the help of individuals to spread the word across their community.
If you have a potential venue or if you are interested in becoming a FoodCycle volunteer please email pamela@foodcycle.co.uk
