Due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, Healthy Start have temporarily extended the validity of the Healthy Start vouchers by 4 weeks, giving families 12 weeks to use their entitlement.

Healthy Start Vouchers can be used to purchase fresh or frozen fruit and vegetables, plain cow’s milk or infant formula that can be used from birth and can be worth up to  £6.20 per week for families that are eligible.

Please note the new vouchers posted out will be the only ones to have extended dates on. Any previously issued vouchers still retain their original expiry. This change will not reduce the number of vouchers received and registered retailers will continue to accept vouchers with extended expiry dates.

There is currently no end date for this change however it is being kept under review. We will keep you informed as soon as I hear any change to this amendment to the scheme.
