Help us improve in hospital care for children and young people with complex needs
Added: 08/05/2025
The University of Leicester
Many children and young people with complex health needs are admitted to hospital, often requiring long stays and involving many health professionals. We know sometimes the needs of children and their families are not always met during hospital stays, and this can result in a poor experience.
The objective of the project is to co-design an intervention that will improve the in-hospital experience of children with complex care needs.
We want you to help us make this project match what children, young people, and families need. Here’s why we want you to be involved:
- To know what’s important to you during hospital stays
- To make sure the project focuses on these important things
- To make sure families are okay with how we plan to do things
- To figure out what we should check to see if the project has worked.
