Hey Neighbour Grants
What’s that?
Grants for grassroots projects.
For activities, led by the community, that bring people together.
How much?
Up to £1,500.
Use a simple, supportive way to apply.
Grants of up to £500 for ideas that are not part of a constituted group
Grants of up to £1,500 for organisations with an annual income of less than £50,000.
When by?
Deadline is Midnight, Friday 5th September.
We aim to let successful applicants know by 24th September.
Funds need to be spent, and projects completed by the end of June 2026.
What else do I need to know?
Some restrictions apply – we can support you with this. For example, we cannot fund projects whose purpose is to promote religion or politics.
There are some guidelines for how you run the project, for example how you advertise it. We can help with this.
If you have received a Hey Neighbour grant before, the panel will ideally want to see some sort of progression upon your previous project. You may want to talk about what you have learnt from the previous grant and what you intend to do differently, or more of, as a result.
This project is funded by Leeds City Council’ ABCD Department and is administered by Leeds Older People’s Forum.
