The UK Shared Prosperity Fund is funding from the Government which replaces EU Structural Funds. West Yorkshire has been allocated a little over £83 million to invest by March 2025, of which £68 million is aimed at ‘core’ activity across three pillars:
- Communities and Place
- Support for local business
- People and skills
Leeds City Council has been allocated £9.4 million from these funds through which it plans to make a wide range of investments which will strengthen our city’s communities.
This third sector briefing by Third Sector Leeds, Forum Central and Voluntary Action Leeds gives an early overview of Leeds’ UKSPF priorities and outlines some of the ways in which the third sector organisations may be able to get involved in delivering UKSPF.
