The Advonet Group’s Leeds Autism AIM service has put together a toolkit of resources for autistic adults to help manage during the Christmas period. It has three main parts, which are:

• A 16-page PDF booklet containing information on online and in-person support and events for anyone feeling lonely or isolated; public transport, supermarket opening times and post and bin collection days; the latest guidance on being in Tier 3 and on Christmas Bubbles; links to mental health and other useful resources and a list of fun activities
• A two-week calendar covering the Christmas and New Year period
• A Christmas Survival Plan, which enables autistic adults to say what they find difficult about different aspects of the festive season and develop coping strategies
