Leeds City Council’s Health Protection Team are running FREE Health Protection Training sessions in 2026.

What to Expect

A safe, inclusive space for participants to share experiences, challenges and solutions to putting these topics into practice in their day-to-day work role. The team can tailor sessions to focus on topics most relevant to your service and workforce.

The training provides an introduction to public health and health inequalities, and covers a range of topics including vaccinations, air quality, adverse weather, antimicrobial resistance (AMR), Sepsis and Tuberculosis (TB). Topics can also be tailored depending on the needs of those taking part.

2 hours with breaks and activities
