Leeds Funding Support Network Meeting on Zoom
Tuesday 1st October 2024 at 1.00pm – 2.15pm

If you are involved in fundraising for your charity, community group or other not-for-profit organisation in Leeds, as a management committee member, volunteer or paid worker, then join us to learn more about funding and fundraising and share your group’s funding needs.

We hope you will join us and take the opportunity to share any fundraising tips and successes you have had or any difficult funding issues. The group is particularly aimed at small groups new to fundraising or for group members/workers new to fundraising and/or who want to develop their fundraising knowledge and skills as well as more experienced fundraisers who will generously share their experiences.

Our speakers will include:

• Mary Scott, Commissioning and Partnership Officer Community Integration Team, Y&H Probation Service. Mary will outline a Grant Competition providing small grants from a pot of £60K to fund organisations in Leeds supporting racially minoritised people on probation, into education, training and employment, through providing new activity until the end of March 2025.
• Natasha Hill, Assistant Digital Inclusion Officer, 100% Digital Leeds. Natasha will share what support and tools are available for bid writing from 100% Digital Leeds

We will also be discussing the use of AI to write bids, asking for your thoughts and experience.
