The Future in Mind Strategy for Leeds, link here, includes a number of priorities. The Support priority is taken forward by a workstream group that identify and deliver actions. As part of these they would like to engage with voluntary and community organisations to better understand the experiences of children and families in accessing emotional and mental health support.

Andrea Cowans, as Chair of the Support Workstream for Future in Mind, and Mary Ryan, Senior Pathway Integration Manager for Children’s mental health are seeking conversations with voluntary sector organisations who are not involved in the delivery of mental health support to gather views on “How well current support offer for emotional and mental health reaches children and young people from different groups?”.
