You may have read the reports in the media that the care sector is facing a crisis this winter in terms of enough staff to be able to provide care and support to everyone that needs it.
Unfortunately, the situation in Leeds is no different. As you will know, it is vital for us to be able to keep health and care support running across the city, and the past year has been very difficult both in terms of responding to the huge ongoing challenge of the pandemic; and new pressures with: increased demand; recruiting and retaining staff; and scaling up the levels of support needed as winter approaches.
We can all think of someone – maybe ourselves, family, or friends – who will have benefitted from, compassionate and quality care at some point in their lives.
If you have a nurturing personality and care about quality of life then we’d love to hear from you. In exchange, we can offer full training, flexible full time and part-time roles and the chance to really make a difference to people who need our care and support across Leeds whilst also getting a boost to your pay.
- Working in a care home setting (you will need to be double vaccinated);
- Preparing food or cleaning for residents;
- Visiting people in their own homes
- Providing much-needed business administration
