Leeds Philosophical and Literary Society (the Phil and Lit) gives grants, usually of between £100 and £1,000, to individuals and organisations in support of cultural and scientific activities which increase innovation, outreach and diversity in Leeds and its immediate area. We also support local museums and galleries and publications relating to the city. If you are working on a project or have an idea that meets our criteria then we’d like to know about it.

For further information, including details of some of the projects we have supported, and an application form go to the Grants section of our website www.leedsphilandlit.org.uk. We consider applications three times a year in January, May and September and the deadline is the last day of the preceding month.
