ABCD in Leeds are delighted to announce that we will be welcoming two new Pathfinder sites later this year. The areas which have been shortlisted for the potential new Pathfinder sites include Little London, Hyde Park and Chapeltown.

Since 2013, we have invested in the ABCD pathfinder model in Leeds. Our recent ABCD pathfinder year 6 review demonstrated that investing small, trust-based funding in pockets of neighbourhoods has had huge positive impacts for the people that have been involved. The ABCD Pathfinder sites have proved a catalyst to improving the health and wellbeing of people living there, strengthening social action and the unlocking of ‘assets’ in those areas. The ABCD pathfinder model in Leeds supports our Leeds Ambitions for thriving, strong communities.

We are now on the lookout for experienced, place-based groups and organisations that can deliver community-led action to come forward to apply. We will also be welcoming applications from communities of interest with support from our partners at Forum Central in a secretariat role. To find out more about the application process, and to apply, please see: www.abcdinleeds.com to download an application pack.

Please note the deadline for the expression of interest is Wednesday 22nd April 2026 at 12 noon. If you have any questions, please email: ABCD@leeds.gov.uk

A final decision on which two areas will host the new Pathfinder sites is expected in July of this year.
