New start up programme launched to support more people with ideas for social change in our region

The SSE (school for social entrepreneurs) are known for their established long learning programmes, however, applications open for these once a year and are always over-subscribed. Start Up Plus is a new programme of support, including a £1,500 grant, learning modules, coaching, support network and skills matching, means that more enterprising people can be supported throughout the year. Start Up Plus will being together a cohort of students recruited from across the country to share learnings and to support each others journey. This part-time six-month programme includes ten action-based learning days. These training sessions will be delivered from London, but all travel and any accommodation costs required will be fully reimbursed.
