The University of Leeds and Leeds City Council are collaborating to bring research expertise together with the real-world issues facing the city. These collaborations have so far taken different forms, from evaluating policy, designing interventions, to co-creating research between academics and partner organisations or individual citizens.
This workshop will explore potential collaborations around the theme of Place. It will be an opportunity to identify and co-create Areas of Research Interest for Leeds City Council. We invite staff from UoL, LCC and city partner organisations to attend. Refreshments and a buffet lunch will be available from 12:30 noon. The workshop will start at 1pm.
During the day we will break into smaller groups to discuss the following sub-themes. We welcome suggestions for alternative sub-themes from participants. Please contact the organiser to propose a subtheme related to your area of experience.
1. Place and connected communities
2. Place and innovation
3. Place and inclusive growth
Please could you email lssi@leeds.ac.uk with your preference of which breakout room you would like to attend.
The workshop will take place on Thursday 9 March, for more information please click here.
