The idea of Shine Magazine is to help older people feel connected and offer space to contribute their stories. The magazine is both online and offline. The printed edition goes to older people who don’t have internet access. Shine comprises a mixture of features that offer different opinions, memories of Leeds past, life-stories, health tips and information.

Time to Shine is funded by the National Lottery Community Fund to reduce and prevent loneliness and social isolation among older people in Leeds.
