Do you have just a few hours a month and live in the Rothwell, Woodlesford, Garforth or Wykebeck areas?

A local social group is looking for volunteer hosts and drivers to join them in alleviating loneliness and isolation in local older people.

The group is run by local people and supported by the charity Re-engage and requires just a few hours a month of volunteering.

Those people attending say the group has had a huge impact on their lives and is a highlight of their week.

One volunteer said ‘I wish I’d have done it sooner, it honestly is my favourite Sunday in the month’
