University of Leeds
The study, Local Food Demand in Leeds, UK, is being conducted by Rachel Helbig, a University of Leeds student studying Sustainable Food Systems. This research is being conducted to better understand the barriers and enablers to the consumption of locally produced food in Leeds, with an interest in identifying the existing landscape and players involved in local food consumption and to gain an understanding of the current appetite for the consumption of food produced locally on an individual basis and beyond.
Your participation and insights provided in the survey will better inform whether or not there is a desired market for a FarmStart scheme in Leeds; the analysed collated information will work towards suggested policy recommendations to be presented in front of Leeds City Council.
