Social Investment Key Fund Workshop Leeds 27.4.23
Sustaining Your Organisation: Social Investment – Is it for you?
Free workshop at Voluntary Action Leeds for charities and social enterprises in Leeds to explore social finance, with speakers from organisations benefiting from Key Fund loans.
Free session at VAL for charities and social enterprises in Leeds, Thursday 27th April 10.30-1.30.
This session delivered by Karen Hobson of Key Fund will explore how your organisation can be more sustainable by diversifying its income sources. Rather than relying on grant funding or donations it will look at social investment, demystifying what it’s all about and helping groups to decide if it’s for them and what support it can get (financial and help) to access social investment. It will cover
- Social investment – what it is and how it works?
- Key Fund Support for third sector organisations, including loan and grant packages, start up and business support, plus range of social investors and useful tools
- REACH Fund grants: pre-investment support grants and Key Fund investment
- Leeds based third sector organisations who have accessed social investment telling us about their experiences: DJ School Leeds and Leeds Wood Recycling
There will be light refreshments and an opportunity to network for the last hour of the session.
