The Government’s Roadmap Out of Lockdown
Gradually, we will start to see COVID-19 restrictions in England get lifted – but nothing is changing yet and not until at least the end of March
For now, please – keep washing hands – wearing face masks – distancing – letting air in.
The rules are changing because the number of people catching the COVID-19 virus is going down, and the number of people who have had the vaccination is going up. The government has created a that will begin to start allowing people to gradually spend more time outside and mixing with people but they will only move from one step to the next if fewer people are catching COVID-19.
There are some proposed key dates on the road map out of lockdown, HOWEVER, it’s important to remember these might change. Find out more about the government’s roadmap out of lockdown, which will provide a route back to a more normal life.
Step 1 of the government’s four step plan will begin to be implemented on 8th March. You can find out a more about the government’s four step plan here.
