Dominique Burley – Senior Development Worker, Event Organiser at Forum Central, said:
“The Self Care Exchange is a new event to promote conversations about sexual health and how it intersects with mental and physical health. This year’s ‘Chronically Online’ theme is timely, as the world is becoming more digitalised – both for the better and for the worse. We want to make sure no one is left behind and that they can get the support they need, in a way that works for them.”
Dr Natasha Astill, Consultant Physician GU Medicine (Sexual Health and HIV) and Co-medical Lead at Leeds Sexual Health, said:
“Leeds Sexual Health is proud to be part of the Self-Care Exchange. Enjoyable and safe sex is an important part of good mental & physical health. It is vital for people to have control over their sexual health, both in the digital and face-to-face world, and the Self-Care Exchange will promote and support that.”
