Third Sector Leeds Response to the Kruger Review

VAL
On 23 June Boris Johnson asked Daniel Kruger MP to prepare a review into the ways that the third sector can support COVID delivery, and post COVID recovery. The review will report by 24 July.
Third Sector Leeds has, today, submitted its response to the review. TSL has endorsed the findings of Locality’s report ‘We Were Built For This’, arguing that the sector needs long term funding and an approach to commissioning that values collaboration not competition.
Government has a critical role in supporting this work both by funding activity, through our local partners, and in setting an enabling framework (for instance by pushing further around social value).
The TSL response also also makes a number of specific proposals around volunteering, mental health, employment support and youth services.
