Voluntary Action Leeds
Leeds’ first Third Sector Strategy was launched on 30 October by Third Sector Leeds, at an event at the Civic Hall with senior leaders from across the public, private and third sector.
You can read the complete strategy, as well as an overview and a view explaining the strategy on our Third Sector Strategy page.
The strategy launch came after a series of ‘TSL Goes Local’ events across the city, bringing our strategy in pin-board form to over 65 third sector organisations in North, South, East, and West Leeds.
Attendees at these events voted on which ambition in the strategy was a priority for them, out of the following:
- Commissioning and funding
- Partnerships
- Workforce
- Volunteering
- Social value
- Inward investment
- A strong evidence base
- Climate action
- Digital
The most popular priorities will form TSL’s workplan for 2024:
TSL would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who worked on the strategy, came along to a TSL Goes Local event, shared their thoughts and even appeared in the video!
