Young Lives Leeds Manifesto
Please find attached the Young Lives Leeds Manifesto, produced by Mark Law OBE, Young Lives Leeds advocates and the staff team here at Voluntary Action Leeds. This document sets out the purpose of the forum and our aims for the coming year. If you have any questions about this please get in touch.
Young Lives Leeds Partner Match
Following the successful partnership working between third sector organisations coming together to bid for youth work contracts and grants, Young Lives Leeds wants to continue to support groups and organisations who may wish to work together on future projects.
With this in mind please complete the attached short form stating which areas of work are of interest to you. We will then send each person who completes the form details on who has signed up with contact details and their areas of interest.
Mark Law OBE
Mark Law OBE has Chaired Young Lives Leeds since December 2019, leading the forum throughout the pandemic and all the challenges that has brought to children, families and young people in the city.
Mark has recently retired from his role as CEO of Barca but has stated that he is willing to continue as Chair of Young Lives Leeds until at least December 2022 when the Terms of Reference will be reviewed.
Please find a statement from Barca Leeds on the retirement of Mark Law HERE.
At the recent Young Lives Leeds forum meeting on 12 January time was allotted for a discussion on this topic without Mark present, with attendees agreeing they would like Mark to remain as chair of the forum. We want to ensure that members agree to this, so if you have any objections to Mark continuing in this role please let Ann Crossland know by Wednesday 2 February.
Best wishes
