The latest version of #TogetherLeeds Newsletter focuses on the importance of safety measures
This week, with shops reopening, we stress the importance of key safety measures to ensure we all play our part in keeping the ever-important ‘R. Whilst we may feel life is starting to return to normal, we mustn’t be complacent.
In this edition we also provide practical tips on how people can look after their physical health, for example by being active, eating healthily and keeping hydrated.
Sadly, during the pandemic, some unscrupulous people have been trying to take advantage of the lonely and the vulnerable by targeting them with a number of scams. We urge you to read and share the information we provide for Scams Awareness Week to prevent more people from becoming a victim.
We also put a call out to all aspiring care workers. We have a number of vacancies in the care system across Leeds, so we give information on how to find out about the different jobs.
Finally, we never want to lose sight of the crucial NHS Here for You Campaign – stressing the importance of seeking medical advice during COVID-19. We hope you find this week’s bulletin an interesting and useful resource.
