Third Sector Leeds
29 June 2022, 1pm- 3pm, St George’s Conference Centre
Third Sector Leeds has decided to make its main focus of 2022/23 improving the quality of collaboration between third sector organisations and with our public sector partners.
At this event, our first member conversation of 2022, we’ll be exploring what the future holds for neighbourhood working and how we can all work better together to ensure that community members can be more in the lead of how their neighbourhoods develop.
We’ll be hearing from Lee Hemsworth, Chief Officer (Customer Access & Welfare), about the Council’s Neighbourhoods and Communities review which is beginning the job of rethinking how to deliver more collaborative services. Andrea Edwards from New Wortley Community Centre and Howard Bradley from LS14 Trust will be speaking about the Leeds Community Anchor Network, who are developing as a group of community led organisations who can work with communities and other local organisations to influence decisions.
In our workshop session there’ll be a chance for you to share your thoughts about what works well already, and the things that need to be in place to make collaboration smoother and ensure that it really delivers for people.
Finally, we’ll also be sharing feedback from our work in 2021/22.
