A second walk-through community testing centre will open this week as part of the drive to improve access to coronavirus testing.

The new site is at The Gryphon Sports Centre on the western edges of the University of Leeds campus (Woodsley Road, LS2 9LZ), and is expected to open to the public on Wednesday 26^th August.

People are strongly encouraged to book an appointment in advance through the NHS website or by ringing 119. To help keep the spread of infection down, people should book a test if experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 and should self-isolate for 10 days only leaving home for medical tests or emergencies.

A video has also been created to explain what to do before an appointment and what happens at the testing site.
