UKSPF – Pillar 3 (People and Skills) programme opens

West Yorkshire Combined Authority

The UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) is a central pillar of the UK Government’s Levelling Up agenda and a significant component of its support for places across the UK. It provides £2.6 billion of new funding for local investment by March 2025. You can find out more about UKSPF in Third Sector Leeds’ briefing here.

West Yorkshire Combined Authority has been allocated £10 million to deliver projects around ‘People and Skills,’ and is now open to invitations to bid for the following areas across West Yorkshire.

  1.  Call Area 1 – Work and Health Programme
  • Minimum – £250,000
  • Maximum – £4,000,000
  1.  Call Area 2 – Community Grants Programme
  • Minimum £2,000,000
  • Maximum £4,000,000
  1.  Call Area 3 – Youth Unemployment Programme
  • Minimum £2,000,000
  • Maximum £2,000,000

An online support ‘workshop’ for prospective applicants will be held on Wednesday, 8 November 2023, 2.30pm to 4.30pm, where Combined Authority Officers will go through the Call areas and the application process, and you will hear from our partner councils about their local priorities. There will be an opportunity to ask questions in the session. Registration for the event is here.
