The Voluntary Action Leeds (VAL) Board is actively seeking to recruit new members to join our lively group of trustees, one third of whom stand down each year in rotation.
Voluntary Action Leeds (VAL) is a charity that supports communities by helping people and organisations that do good in Leeds.
Our aims are to reflect, as closely as we can, the communities and neighbourhoods which make up our city, and within which our voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise organisations work.
In addition to our elected places, we have the ability to co-opt, and we strongly encourage people who have lived experience of living or working in the communities of Leeds to join us.
We have many challenges to face in the coming year, the climate emergency, emerging from covid, supporting Black Lives Matter, and above all working with our communities and neighbourhoods throughout Leeds.
