Voluntary Action Leeds
Voice Champions Group for adopted young people aged 13–21 years.
This group already has a small number of young people actively involved and they are keen to increase participation so that more adopted young people can have their voices heard. The group provides a safe and supportive space where young people can connect with others who have shared experiences, build confidence, and discuss issues that matter to them.
Voice Champions Group is a valuable project that gives adopted young people the opportunity to share their wishes and feelings and play an active role in shaping adoption policy and practice. Their views help influence service development both locally and nationally, ensuring that the experiences of adopted young people are reflected in the decisions that affect them.
You will find a flyer attached, please share this with adopted young people and families you are working with who may be interested in getting involved. Your support will help us reach a wider range of young people and ensure that their voices are represented.
