The Hunslet Club
Do you have a gap in your schedule? Do you want to learn a new skill? Do you want to build on your soft skills? If the answer to any of these is yes, we have some exciting news for you.
The Hunslet Club in South Leeds is hosting a volunteer open morning on Saturday, 4th March 2023.
Between 10 am and 12 pm on Saturday, you can stop by The Hunslet Club and talk to our volunteer coordinator about how you can spare a few hours to help those in your community. Everyone is welcome to come along, ask questions and see how you can get involved.
Alex Erdinc, the Volunteer Coordinator at The Hunslet Club, had this to say about the event:
“Volunteers are woven into the history of The Hunslet Club. From sports and dance sessions to the large community events we host, volunteers are always present to lend a helping hand. Even the young people from our senior youth club have started to volunteer. During my time here, I’ve seen first-hand how volunteers positively affect young people and how we can help them grow.
This volunteer open morning is more than just a path to volunteering; it is about discovering how a few hours of your time can go so far. This event will help you understand our work and how volunteering makes such a big difference in a young person’s life, as well as yours.”
Volunteering can do so much for the community and your well-being. Whether you have a gap in your schedule, want to do something good, or want to build your self-confidence, volunteering can help you do that.
Come along to our volunteer open morning on Saturday, 4th March 2023.
