The Hunslet Club’s annual Summer Gala is this weekend (22^nd July 2023)! 12:00 PM until 5:00 PM, five hours of fun, food, family, and friends. This community gala is set to be bigger and better than ever before, but we need your help.

Our Summer Gala takes place in our outdoor space and features an array of activities and entertainment, including showcases, BBQ, music, face painting, tombolas, stalls, inflatables, and games.

With so many attractions and activities we need your help to ensure this community event runs as smoothly as possible. We are searching for volunteers who can lend a hand at this event.

No previous experience is required, as support will be given by our team. Volunteering should fit around your schedule, so you can let us know what time you have available between 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

Our Summer Gala is all about bringing the community together to support a good cause, all while having a memorable summer day out. Volunteering is another way we bring the community together as it can benefit people in different ways. Volunteers can gain experience for their CV, improve their confidence, work on transferrable skills, and connect with like-minded people.

Volunteers are the foundation of The Hunslet Club and have helped young people reach their full potential since 1940.
