Voluntary Action Leeds

We are excited to announce the launch of the Volunteers of Leeds – Unity Project funded by UKSPF.
This is a wonderful opportunity for your volunteers to design and lead on a cultural cohesion project that brings volunteers from across the city together. This is a cross-sector partnership where we can connect our volunteers with one another under the new Volunteer Team Leeds identity.
A total of 3 projects will be funded with £1500 each
Volunteers are asked to design a project that fits with some of the following themes:
- Bring people from different ages together
- Bring people from different culturally diverse backgrounds together
- Create opportunities for community mediators.
- Helps to solve a problem in the community
- Strengthens people’s sense of pride and identity
Projects will deliver activities that create a lasting resource which can be used by communities to spark conversation. This could include things like blogs, videos, podcasts, music, pieces of artwork, banners or photographs.
Deadlines for registrations of interest: Monday 11th of November
- Further guidance can be found here: Unity Project Guidance
- Volunteers can register their interest using this paper form: Expression of Interest or can complete an online form using this link: Unity Project Form
Once registrations of interest have been received they will be taken to a panel of volunteers who will select the projects that best meet the criteria. We will let volunteers know if they have been successful by the 25th of November.
Please do give me a call or drop me an email if you have any questions!
Best wishes,
Andrina
