West Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership

I’m delighted to invite leaders from the voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector in  West Yorkshire to apply to be a member of the Integrated Care Board (ICB) and bring the perspective of the VCSE to the Board.  The person taking up this ICB Board member role will also act as the Senior Responsible Officer for our Harnessing the Power of Communities (HPoC) Programme within the Integrated Care Partnership.

We are very committed to increasing the diversity of our leadership so that it is representative of the population we serve in West Yorkshire and to ensuring effective representation across our 5 places.

The appointment process is set out in full in sections 4 and 6 of the attached  pack. In summary, the process is as follows:

  • Candidates will be shortlisted by a panel, Chaired by HPoC and including a VCSE representative from each of our places (Bradford District and Craven, Calderdale, Kirklees, Leeds and Wakefield). Shortlisted candidates will be put forward to the appointment stage.

  • Shortlisted applications will be considered by a panel which will include a representative from each of our places, the Chair of the VCSE shortlisting panel and Cathy Elliott, the ICB Chair. The panel will select the most suitable candidate for appointment.

  • The ICB Chair will determine whether to approve the appointment.
